SIGNALFLOW

FAQ

Good questions

What is SignalFlow?

An artist-centric home for the electronic music scene: streaming, social, events, and (soon) a marketplace, all in one place with no middleman. SignalFlow. Your Music, Your Flow.

How do uploads work?

Artists upload lossless masters: WAV, FLAC, AIFF, or Apple Lossless (ALAC in .m4a). We store your original untouched and stream it to listeners. Your masters stay yours, always.

What's a Founding Artist?

The first 200 artists to join carry the founding badge for life, get their first year of Signal on the house, and a founding rate locked for life after that, below what everyone else pays. No invite needed: sign up as an artist and the badge is yours while spots remain.

Scenes, collectives, labels: what's the difference?

Scenes are communities anyone can join: your city, your genre, your festival crew. Collectives are curated crews of artists making things together. Labels are the business layer: a roster with releases under one banner (coming soon).

How private is my profile?

Your call. Private profiles show strangers only your name and picture, and you choose what appears on your page. Full details on the privacy page.

Who can post events?

Anyone can create events and invite people. Public listing in the events directory is for promoter accounts, so the calendar stays trustworthy.

How do artists get paid?

Artists keep 90% of every sale, music and merch alike, and card processing is added at checkout instead of shrinking the split. Everything streams free, and selling is open: set a price, or let fans name their own. The full terms live at /about.
